Practical details

Miles Without StilesFor someSteep gradients

Visitor viewThe initial tarmac section reaches 1:4 gradients. Use the signed accessible route, not the separate wildlife sculpture trail with steps, steep slopes and soft ground. This is not an easy or universally buggy-suitable route. Keep dogs close and on leads around livestock.

Before bookingAssess the climb and descent against your buggy's brakes, loaded weight and your ability. Check conditions first; the published 1.74km route distance is one way, with about 3.5km needed for the return trip.

Policies, opening times and services can change. Confirm anything essential directly before making a special journey or booking.
