Visitor viewStart at Elterwater's National Trust car park. Stone slabs are bumpy, the meadow section can suffer flood erosion, and there is a 1:8 slope near Woodburn Bridge. Larger all-terrain wheels are a more sensible comparison than a lightweight stroller. Keep dogs close beside the gorge.
